About Us
Westoe Travel is an award winning family owned Independent business based in South Shields, Tyne Wear. We have established this business from scratch starting as a desk in the back of the family newsagents in 1989 to now being the biggest retail travel agent in the UK for the sale of UK holidays and breaks. This has been achieved while maintaining excellence in customer services and ‘the family business that cares’ ethos. We have competed against and overtaken multiple travel agents both in terms of sales of UK products and more importantly in customer service.
Westoe Travel is an award winning family owned Independent business based in South Shields, established over 34 years ago.
Westoe Travel are members of ABTA and act as agent only for selected operators who provide full ATOL protection or similar bonding and financial protection to our customers.We also have our own Tour Operator -Rail Adventures that provides rail and hotel throughout the UK with attractions and events included.

In the interests of consumer protection all ABTA members, including Westoe Travel, are fully bonded. We are members of the Worldchoice consortia to enable us to obtain better commercial deals for our customers and for the provision of technical support. We retain our independence.

We provide a comprehensive range of travel services, including holidays, flights, hotels, insurance, car hire, cruises and late holidays, airport parking and airport lounges. We also specialise in UK breaks, Canadian, USA, Australian and New Zealand holidays.
We are members of the Cruise Specialist organisation CLIA
We are also officially appointed agents for the issue of rail tickets.
