As a general rule
1. You cannot book more than 12 weeks in advance for travel.
2. It is cheaper to travel on set time trains rather than have an open ticket
3.The further ahead you book the more chance you have of getting a cheap fare.
4. Tickets are never cheaper nearer the day of travel.
5. You could be entitled to a railcard if
a. You are under 30
b. You are over 60
c. You are travelling as a family group (at least one adult and one child under 16)
d. There are two of you travelling together
e. You are in full time education.
6. It is normally cheaper to travel off peak.
7. It could be cheaper to include a hotel booking with your travel as we can access special fares when a hotel is included.

8. If you have any mobility requirements we will arrange these with your tickets
